Initial Watering: After installation, keep the product damp for 2-3 weeks to ensure successful establishment. Regular watering during this period is crucial for good seed germination.

Long-Term Maintenance: Once established, your wildflower area will generally only require one maintenance cut per year. This is typically done in the Autumn.

Here’s a quick guide to prepping your existing grassland:

1. Mow it Low: Cut the existing vegetation down to a maximum height of 25mm (roughly 1 inch).
2. Clear the Cuttings: Remove the mown material to create space for the wildflower seeds to germinate.
3. Rake the Soil: Give the soil a good raking to create a rough surface and remove any remaining thatch (dead plant material). This allows for better seed contact with the soil.
